I’ve been researching, formulating and testing natural products for decades.
Here’s my top 5 easy Must Try beauty hacks!
1. Coconut Oil Makeup Remover
I know it seams basic, but honestly I have never seen anything that’s a homemade recipe work as good as plain coconut oil for removing makeup. It even gets the toughest waterproof makeup off! Cheap & effective!
Not a fan of the smell? Or too greasy?
Try our Micellar Water instead…https://wackyworldofwildflower.ca/product/miraculous-micellar-water/
2. Use Your Eyelash Curler This Way
I’m not a person who wears a lot of makeup, but I do like to look like I give a bit of an effort. I’d say my style is natural, but well kept.
I came across this video, at first I was shocked it looked so evasive, but really doesn’t hurt in the least, and I get compliments on my lashes every single time I do it!! It’s a must try for sure!!
3. Non-Petroleum Jelly for Manicures
I first read about taking a small artist brush and brushing Vaseline along the skin next to your nails to prevent getting polish all over. I tried it, and it works like a charm!
However… I don’t love the idea of using a petroleum-based product on my body. So I found this quick recipe for Non-Petroleum Jelly instead that works great!
Don’t have time to make your own? A great substitution for non petroleum jelly is our Balm of Gilead!

4. Drink Tons of Water
The cheapest and easiest hack of all is to drink a ton of clean water.
This is by far one of the most effective ways to rid yourself of acne and give yourself a beautiful, hydrated glow.
Dehydrated skin has more wrinkles, less elasticity and is way more vulnerable to environmental toxins.
Here’s a great article about the benefits of getting enough of this liquid gold into your body ❤️
5. Get Enough Sleep
This sounds cliche, but it so true. When we’re truly well rested we look happier, refreshed and younger. Besides all those great things, our bodies work much better. From our metabolism and bodies self-healing abilities, to our cognitive functioning, we are all around way better performing.
I read about the thing called ‘sleep debt’ in this linked article, and it made me really think about sleep differently. I used to think about it as it was something that essentially reset every day, but now that I think about it in these terms, it really drives home how essential it is.
I, myself still have not caught up on any of my sleep debt from the last 23 years, but I am working towards a new life model where I can work in a full, solid 7 to 8 hours of restorative sleep. We’ll see how that goes 😉
